ZIAC: Your list of clients includes companies from various countries. What states can today be considered as the most friendly towards gambling business? Why is that so?

М. М., J. P.: We believe Malta, Gibraltar, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, Colombia, and Romania are the most well-regulated and most gambling business friendly jurisdictions today, mostly because of smart implementation of well-defined rules and regulations, transparency and long history of both land-based and online gaming.

ZIAC: Which trends of the gaming market are the most progressive today?

М. М., J. P.: We will see further consolidation and further regulation of LatAm and US markets. In Europe, we are seeing intense competition in the content space, pressure on pricing, tighter regulations and great focus on implementation of AML prevention and responsible gaming measures. New demands are eating away operator profits. Therefore, successful use of data, player loyalty and integration of advanced player retention mechanisms are becoming critical for the operators.

ZIAC: Oryx Gaming offers more than 8000 games to its customers. What kind of games and stories are the most popular?

М. М., J. P.: We see a very strong player preference for classic German/Austrian/Swiss land-based type slots. In the DACH markets, games with the adventure stories, Books and Egypt are still most popular. Games featuring Fruit thematic are equally in-demand.
